A Dublin businessman has been arrested by gardaí investigating complaints of fraud by a number of property investors.
The man, who is aged in his 40s, was arrested this morning by detectives from the Garda Bureau of Fraud Investigation and is being held in Irishtown Garda Station.
Detectives also searched a house in Monkstown as part of what is being described as a major investigation.
The man can be held for up to 24 hours.
