Three men have been released without charge following questioning on the seizure of 7m cigarettes in Dublin.
Files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Gardaí and Customs officers seized the cigarettes, with a retail value of nearly €3m, at Baldonnel Business Park yesterday.
The cigarettes, 'BusinessMan' brand illicit whites, have a retail value of €2.9m and had the potential loss to the Exchequer of €2.3m.
The cigarettes arrived through Belfast Port two days ago having been shipped from Malaysia under the guise of 'wooden flooring', before being transported to Dublin.
Since the beginning of 2011, approximately 62m cigarettes with a retail value of €26m and a potential loss to the Exchequer of €20.7m have been seized by Customs.
