An improvised explosive device was made safe by an Army Bomb Disposal Team in Mulhuddart in Dublin early this morning.
The Defence Forces sent the team to an address at Whitestown Drive following a request from the gardaí.
The team arrived on scene at 1.30am and removed the device for evaluation and destruction.
The scene was declared safe at 2.30am.
