Gardaí are investigating a fire that caused extensive damage to a GoSafe-operated marked Garda mobile safety camera van.
The van was parked on the Gorey Road outside Arklow, Co Wicklow when it was set on fire around 7.30pm.
The operator of the van was not injured.
Gardaí would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anything unusual or suspicious in and around a Citroen Relay van registration 11kk491 between 7pm and 7.30pm.
The van was parked approximately 1km south of Arklow on the Gorey Road, the old N11.
