The funerals have taken place in Limerick of Breda Waters and Des Kelly, who were shot dead at a house in Southill on Sunday morning.
Breda Waters was a mother of three young children.
Hundreds of people joined members of her large family, as well as friends and neighbours, at St Mary's Church in Limerick for her funeral mass this morning.
Fr Donagh O'Malley said there was real sorrow and anguish at the 28-year-old's sudden death, which left her family with 'no opportunity to say goodbye'.
The funeral of the second murder victim, 24-year-old Des Kelly, took place this afternoon at the Holy Family Church in Southill.
Eight people are still being questioned by gardaí about the murders.
