A 23-year-old Armagh man has appeared in court, charged with the murder of a dairy farmer two years ago.
Peter Joseph Moloney of Drumarg Park in Armagh was accused of beating 45-year-old Victor Stewart to death at his isolated farmhouse in Middletown in October 2008.
He was also accused of stealing a safe from the property.
His 48-year-old father, also called Peter, of Drumarg Villas in Armagh was charged with perverting the course of justice and withholding information.
It emerged in court last month that the PSNI had taped a conversation between Peter Moloney senior and his daughter-in-law, the wife of his co-accused.
The police maintain that Mr Moloney had tried to persuade his daughter-in-law from going to the police with information she had about the murder.
Bail was refused at today's hearing in Newry.
