Stolen plant machinery worth an estimated €1m has been recovered in Balbriggan, Co Dublin.
Members of the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NBCI) Stolen Motor Vehicle Unit, assisted by local gardaí from Laytown, Co Meath, made the discovery at around 8pm last night.
During a search of lands and warehouses, 15 plant machinery units were discovered including tractors, excavators and telehandlers.
It is believed that some of the recovered machinery was stolen in England in 2010.
No arrests have been made and investigations are continuing.
