Gardaí investigating the disappearance of a 28-year-old man in Dublin have completed a search for him in Newcastle, Co Dublin.
James McDonagh Kenny was last seen a week ago driving his car in Dublin.
Detectives believe he may have been attacked and killed by members of a west Dublin criminal gang.
Mr McDonagh Kenny was last seen in Bluebell at around 3pm on 27 October driving a wine-coloured Mazda 626.
The burnt out car was found later that evening at Lock Road Milltown between Peamount Hospital and the now derelict Polly Hops pub in Newcastle.
The family of James McDonagh Kenny reported him missing to the gardaí after they had not heard from him in days.
Gardaí are still appealing for people with information to contact them at Kilmainham Garda Station on 01-6669700.
