Two men charged in connection with the killing of a Co Clare school teacher in Ennis last Christmas will be sentenced next month.
Harry Dinan, 30, of Waterpark Heights, Ennis, and his nephew Kevin Dinan, 23 of Clarehill, Clarecastle, have pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Brian Casey on 26 December 2009.
Mr Casey, 26, a native of Lissycasey, Co Clare, died after he was assaulted at O'Connell Square in the town that night.
The two accused men will be sentenced at Ennis Circuit Court on 8 November.
