Two people charged in connection with the death of model Katy French have been sent forward for trial.

40-year-old Kieron Ducie of Lambertstown Manor, Kilmessan, Co Meath, and 29-year-old Ann Corcoran of Tolka Road, Dublin, have been charged with conspiring with persons not before the court to possess cocaine for the purpose of supply to another between 1 and 2 December 2007 at Bracetown, Clonee, Co Meath.

They are also charged that on the same dates at Lambertstown Manor they recklessly engaged in conduct, the supply of cocaine to Ms French and failure to get medical attention in a timely fashion, which created a substantial risk of serious harm or death to another.

In Navan District Court today, Detective Niall O'Donnell and Detective Inspector Alf Martin gave evidence of presenting the books of evidence to both accused.

Judge Denis McLoughlin sent both forward for trial at the next sitting of Trim Circuit Criminal Court on 26 October.

Both were granted legal aid for the circuit court trial.

Following a request from the defence solicitor, the Judge assigned two barristers to each defendant.
