Gardaí have arrested 37 people as part of Operation Reagent targeting the sale and supply of drugs in West Dublin.
36 men and one woman were arrested over the past two days by officers from the Garda National Drugs Unit, as part of an operation targeting two drugs distribution gangs in Ballyfermot, Neilstown and Ronanstown in West Dublin.
Garda Sergeant Alan Roughnane of the Garda Press Office said over 60 charges have been preferred against the suspected drug dealers.
'Operation Reagent' has been a six-month covert operation.
Gardaí say the focus of the operation has been to gather evidence against significant drug dealers in local communities and ensure these persons are brought before the courts.
Separately, two men were arrested in Dublin city this afternoon after gardaí seized cocaine with an estimated street value of over €400,000.
