Two cannabis factories have been discovered along with drugs worth almost €900,000 during three separate searches by gardaí in Dublin and Meath.
Eight people have been arrested.
In Dublin, €600,000 worth of cannabis was discovered at a house in Mount Anville Wood, following a search carried out on a car on the Drummartin Link Road.
A man and woman, both aged 33, were arrested.
As part of a follow-up investigation, a house was searched on the Headfort Road in Kells, Co Meath.
Gardaí found what was described as an elaborate cannabis factory along with €200,000 worth of the drug.
A 16-year-old youth and 21-year-old man have been arrested in connection with that seizure.
