Police in Belfast are investigating an allegation of a serious sexual assault in the University Area of the city in the early hours of this morning.
It is understood that a woman was assaulted by two men in an alleyway between Cromwell Road and Ireton Street in south Belfast between 12.30am and 1.30am.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
