A 36-year-old man has been injured in a pipe bomb attack in north Belfast.
It is understood that the man was outside a house in the Kansas Avenue area at around 1.40am when the device exploded.
The victim is being treated in hospital for hand injuries.
The occupants of the house were uninjured in the incident.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the attack to come forward.
