Three men arrested by gardaí in connection with a counterfeit money operation in Co Laois have been released without charge.
Files are being sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
One man remains in garda custody at Portlaoise station.
Gardaí said they uncovered what is believed to be a sophisticated operation to make counterfeit money on Monday morning.
A number of buildings at a site near Borris-in-Ossory were sealed-off for a technical examination by a forensic investigation team.
Gardaí said the operation was initiated following an analysis of increased activity in counterfeiting across Europe.
