Detectives investigating allegations of historical sexual abuse in Co Down have been granted a further 36 hours to question four men and two women who were arrested yesterday.
The specialist detectives are from the Northern Ireland Public Protection Unit in three districts.
A seventh man also arrested as part of the investigation has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
He was questioned in connection with intimidation offences.
