A 29-year-old man has been found guilty of manslaughter at the Central Criminal Court sitting in Tralee.

Michal Kurowski had pleaded not guilty to the murder of Michal Skotak at Racecourse Lawn in the town on 16 May last year.

The 32-year-old father of four died in Kerry General Hospital after he was stabbed three times during a row at party to celebrate his son's First Communion.

Kurowski was remanded in custody for sentencing on 14 June.
