A 68-year-old woman, arrested at Dublin Airport on Tuesday evening following the discovery of two handguns in her hand luggage, has been released without charge.
She had been detained at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
