The mother of murdered British toddler, James Bulger, has said the anonymity of one of her son's killers should be taken away if he is convicted of other alleged offences.
Yesterday, Britain's Justice Secretary Jack Straw confirmed that Jon Venables had been sent back to prison because of what he called 'extremely serious allegations'.
Venables and his accomplice Robert Thompson were aged ten when they battered two-year-old James to death in Liverpool in 1993.
The 27-year-old was released on license in 2001, with a new identity, after serving eight years for the murder.
Newspaper reports have claimed Venables was returned to jail on suspicion of a sexual offence.
The toddler's mother, Denise Fergus, is expected to meet Mr Straw to discuss the matter.
Her spokesman, Chris Johnson, said Mrs Fergus believes Venables should have served a longer sentence for her son's killing.
