Three men have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 33-year-old father-of-three in Dublin last year.
John Carroll was shot dead in Grumpy Jack's pub in the Coombe on 18 February 2009.
The three men were brought under garda escort to the Special Sitting of the Dublin District Court late last night.
Christopher Zambra, 35, from Galtymore Road in Drimnagh, 28-year-old Peter Kenny, McCarthy's Terrace, Rialto, and 27-year-old Damian Johnson, Cashel Road, Crumlin, were all charged with the murder of John Carroll.
Detective Sergeants Adrian Whitelaw and Michael McNulty gave evidence of arresting Mr Johnson and Mr Kenny, while Detective Inspector JJ Keane said he arrested Mr Zambra and charged all three with murder.
He said each man made no reply to the charge.
All three were granted free legal aid and remanded in custody to appear again at Cloverhill District Court next week.
