Three men were due before a special sitting of Dublin District Court tonight charged in connection with the murder of John Carroll.
The 33-year-old was shot dead in Grumpy Jack's pub in the Coombe in February of last year.
The three men were arrested by detectives earlier this week.
Mr Carroll, who was married with three children, was involved with a number of criminal gangs and was a target of the Garda National Drugs Unit.
