Gardaí have ruled out foul play in the case of a 68-year-old woman who was found dead in her home at Tower, in Blarney in Co Cork.
This follows a post mortem examination carried out on the woman's body at Cork University Hospital this afternoon.
A file is to be prepared for an inquest that will be held into the woman's death at a later date.
Neighbours of the woman, who lived at Primrose Hill in Tower, became concerned when they had not seen her for a number of days.
Gardaí found the body when they gained entry to the woman's house at around 3am.
