A 52-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to the murder of his wife in Howth, Co Dublin, just over a year ago.
Eamonn Lillis is accused of the murder of Celine Cawley on 15 December 2008.
The jury panel heard that Mr Lillis and Ms Cawley lived at Rowan Hill, Windgate Road in Howth.
They were both directors of a production company, Toytown Productions, which produced commercials.
A jury was sworn in to hear the case this morning. It will begin tomorrow morning and is expected to last for around three weeks.
