The People's Movement has accused the Referendum Commission and the Department of Foreign Affairs of propaganda and giving out misleading information about the Lisbon Treaty.
At a press conference this morning, Patricia McKenna, who is leading the group's No campaign, said the leaflets published by the commission and the department were designed to influence a Yes vote and were an abuse of taxpayers' money.
Anthony Coughlan, who is also campaigning for a No vote, said the media is giving far more coverage to the Yes side and said there has been an inadequate account about what is in the text.
He also criticised the intervention of senior civil servants from Europe in the campaign and said this was a basic democratic problem.
Ireland will vote on the Lisbon Treaty for a second time on 2 October.
