A man in his 40s has been stabbed to death in Tallaght in Dublin this evening.
The man was attacked at a house in Pairc Gleann Trasna in Aylesbury at 7.20pm and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A woman in her 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident.
She is being detained at Tallaght Garda Station.
The man's body remains at the scene, which has been sealed off for a forensic examination.
The State Pathologist's Office has been informed and a post mortem examination is expected to be carried out tomorrow.
