Post-mortem examinations are under way on the bodies of two men found at a house in Bray, Co Wicklow, yesterday.
Sebastian Creane, 22, was stabbed to death at his family home at Cuala Grove.
A 22-year-old from Dalkey, who has been named locally as Shane Clancy, was found dead by gardaí in the back garden of the house with a knife beside him.
Another man and a woman were also injured in the incident.
Mr Creane's brother Dylan suffered a punctured lung in the attack.
The woman, Jennifer Hennigan, has undergone surgery to have part of a knife removed from her back.
Gardaí initially thought the attacker had fled, but during their examination of the house they found the body of the second man.
They say they are not seeking anyone in relation to either death.
Gardaí are hoping to speak to the injured man and woman when they have recovered.
