The hotels industry has called an emergency meeting for Wednesday to discuss the crisis in the sector due to the economic downturn.
The hoteliers are concerned that a large number of hotels built on the back of tax breaks have flooded the market.
They are demanding Government intervention to enable some hotels to close and others to survive.
