One of Ireland's biggest hotel groups has announced that it has voluntarily entered examinership proceedings in a bid to restructure its finances.
The Lynch Hotel Group, which owns seven hotels in counties Mayo, Clare, and Limerick, said that all its hotels will continue trading as normal.
The announcement comes as a new survey shows that profits in the hotel sector are down by 25%.
