A man has appeared before a special sitting of Cahir District Court in Co Tipperary, in connection with the seizure of cannabis and cannabis plants.
The drugs, with an estimated street value of €12,000, were found during a search of a house in Cahir yesterday.
The man has been remanded in custody until next Tuesday.
Elsewhere, a 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs in Co Antrim.
Officers recovered what they said was a substantial amount of suspected Class A drugs during a planned search of a vehicle on the Creevery Road yesterday.
