Two Dublin men have been sentenced to ten years in prison for possession of drugs.
22-year-old Karl Rafferty and 21-year-old Graham Dutton were caught with €22,000 worth of cocaine and heroin when gardaí raided Rafferty's home almost four years ago.
In the 2006 raid, gardaí found €18,000 worth of cocaine and €4,000 of heroin. An electric weighing scales was also found.
During the raid Rafferty attacked gardaí with a knife, while Dutton tried to claim they framed him.
Two previous juries had to be discharged - one before the trial could begin, the other during the trial but before the jury could begin its deliberations.
Judge Frank O'Donnell said Dutton had perjured himself because he took the stand and claimed the gardaí had framed him by pushing him into the room where the drugs were.
He sentenced them both to the mandatory minimum ten years in prison.
