The number of people who have caught the human swine flu virus is continuing to rise, with over 100 cases now confirmed in Ireland.
Most of the cases were contracted abroad and considered mild.
The Department of Health announced today it's changing its public health response to the pandemic from a policy of containment to one of mitigation.
This means that arrangements will be put in place with GPs so that people who get Human Swine Flu will be diagnosed and treated locally.
