Two men have been arrested after drugs worth over €1m were seized in Co Galway.
As part of an ongoing operation in the region, gardaí and customs officers carried out a search at a house in Loughrea this afternoon.
They recovered around €1.1m worth of cannabis, in both herb and resin form.
The two men arrested following the seizure are understood to be in their early 30s.
They are being questioned at Mill Street Garda Station in Galway city and can be detained for up to seven days.
