A man has appeared before Arklow District Court charged with the murder of Charles Sinapayen in Bray.
Declan Sheridan, of Sea Road in Kilcoole, Co Wicklow, was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next week.
The court heard the 23-year-old was arrested at a house in Ballywaltrim Heights in Bray yesterday evening.
Mr Sinapayen, 32, was shot in the head on 29 May at an apartment in Richmond Hill in Fassaroe. He died a few days later.
Originally from Bordeaux he had been living in Ireland for the past three years.
Gardaí recovered two shotguns and a car which they believe were used in the attack.
