Two men have been arrested after a shot was fired at a house in Drimnagh in Dublin last night.

Gardaí say that a single shot was fired through the front window of a house at Keeper Road in Drimnagh at around 11.30pm.

Another shot was fired at gardaí pursuing a car as it left the scene.

There was one person in the house at the time who was not injured.

Gardai also say that the occupants of the house have no connection with any criminal activity.

It is the 10th house that has been shot into within the last six weeks.

Gardaí later stopped and searched a car on St Peters Road in Walkinstown and recovered a fully loaded pistol from a car park in the area.

The two men arrested, one in his 30s and the other in his 20s, are being held at Crumlin and Sundrive Road Garda Stations.

Gardaí say the two men being questioned in connection with a shooting are key players in an ongoing feud between two criminal gangs in the area.
