Businessman Harry Crosbie and Dunnes Stores have settled a multi-million euro legal action over an €850m retail and shopping development on the site of the old Point Depot in Dublin.
The Commercial Court was told this morning that both sides had settled the case.
Mr Crosbie had claimed that the alleged failure of Dunnes Stores to complete an agreement to become the anchor tenant at the Point Village Development was jeopardising the continued financing of the development.
Mr Crosbie's company was seeking an order that Dunnes Stores pay €23m due under the agreement.
Outside the court Mr Crosbie said he was pleased with the outcome of the case and said that Dunnes Stores would be involved in the project.
The Point Village development includes a shopping centre, cineplex, offices, hotel, apartments and a public square.
