A suspect device found in Tallaght in Dublin this morning has been made safe by Army bomb disposal experts.
The improvised explosive device was found under a car at Castletymon Court at around 10.25am this morning.
A controlled explosion was carried out and it was found that the IED did contain explosives.
The bomb disposal officer gave the all clear at 11.55am.
The remains of the device were handed over to gardaí at the scene for ongoing investigation into the incident.
