A man is recovering in hospital after he was shot in the head in Dublin last night.
The man was struck by one shotgun pellet which was fired through the window of a house at Woodford Downs in Clondalkin.
Gardaí are investigating the incident, which happened at around 9pm.
There was a child beside the man when he was shot.
