Cocaine worth €175,000 has been seized at Dublin Airport.
Around 2.5kg of cocaine had been concealed in the back support of two haversacks belonging to a 32-year-old man who had travelled from Santiago, Chile.
He was arrested and questioned by gardaí at Dublin Airport, and is expected to appear in court today.
Customs officers at the airport have seized drugs with a street value of approximately €8m so far in 2008.
