An investigation is under way into the death of a man in Castlebar, Co Mayo.
The body of the 34-year-old man was found at around 1.30pm this afternoon in a house in Upper Thomas Street in the town .
Gardaí have interviewed a number of people in connection with the death.
The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.
The man's body has been removed to Mayo General Hospital.
A post mortem will be carried out tomorrow.
