A 20-year-old man has died after being stabbed during a row in Glenamaddy, Co Galway.
A murder investigation is under way after a post mortem examination was completed on the victim.
Frank Fahy, from Glenamaddy, died after being stabbed during a row in the town early this morning.
Gardaí believe he was stabbed in a fight that started in a pub at about 1.30am and then spilled out onto the street.
He was taken to hospital in Roscommon and pronounced dead an hour later.
A 45-year-old man who was arrested shortly after the incident is being questioned at Tuam Garda Station.
A third man, in his 30s, sustained minor injures in the row and was also taken to hospital.
It is thought there were up to three people involved in the row.
