Gardaí in Longford say they are treating last night’s fire on the Athlone Road as suspicious.
A spokesperson said that there was evidence of a break-in at the Brooke's Builders Suppliers factory, and a major investigation has been launched.
While there is no official estimate yet available on the damage caused, it is understood it could run to more than €2m.
