The identity of the 27-year-old man killed in a Dublin shooting suspected to be linked to organised crime has emerged.
Sean Cloherty was shot five times with a handgun at his home in Ashcroft Grove, Blakestown in Dublin 15.
Gardaí investigating the murder say his 17-month-old baby girl was upstairs at the time he was shot dead.
They have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
Mr Cloherty's body was found with gunshot wounds to the neck just after 8pm last night.
The scene and the body were given a preliminary examination by the Deputy State Pathologist before the body was removed for a full post mortem.
