Gardaí are investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed in Co Clare last night.
The 55-year old man was injured at an apartment complex on Burton Street in Kilrush shortly before 10pm.
He is being treated at Ennis General Hospital for a stab wound to his hip.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
