Gardaí in Cork are treating as suspicious the death of a man whose body was found at his home at High Street in the Capwell area of the city.
62-year-old Donal Manley of High Street, Cork, was single and lived alone.
It is believed he may have suffered head injuries.
Gardaí are examining the man's home, which remains sealed off.
A post-mortem examination at Cork University Hospital will resume tomorrow morning.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have seen Mr Manley after midday on Friday 10 October or have any information to contact them.
