A Clare woman convicted of conspiracy to murder her partner and his two sons will be sentenced next month.
Sharon Collins and her co-accused Essam Eid, a Las Vegas poker dealer who was convicted of extortion, appeared at a brief hearing at the Central Criminal Court today.
The court heard that psychological reports had been prepared for Collins and her lawyers were ready to proceed with a sentence hearing.
However the case was adjourned to allow more time for medical reports to be prepared for Eid.
The court agreed to an application for an adjournment from counsel for Eid and set 3 November as the sentence date.
The trial, which ended last July, heard how Collins tried to hire a hitman to kill her partner PJ Howard and his two sons.
