Gardaí investigating the murder of Paul Quinn have been given an extra 24 hours to question a man arrested in the early hours of Sunday morning.
At a special sitting of Monaghan District Court tonight Supt Karl Heller, who is leading the investigation into Mr Quinn's murder, was granted the extension by Judge Sean McBride.
The man has been returned to Monaghan Garda Station. He is the thirteenth person to be questioned by gardaií and the PSNI as part of their investigations into the murder of Mr Quinn.
Mr Quinn, from Cullyhanna in South Armagh, was beaten to death by a gang of men in a shed near the village of Oram in Co Monaghan in October of last year.
