The AIB branch in Edenderry has been targeted by raiders for the second time in a month.
Two men are believed to have gained access to the bank on JKL Street through an unoccupied adjacent building.
The raid happened at around 5pm.
The men escaped with a significant amount of cash.
On 8 September the same bank was held up by two armed raiders who made off on a motorbike with an undisclosed sum.
Gardaí from Tullamore, Edenderry and the surrounding area attended the scene.
