Gardaí in Wicklow town are investigating a shooting incident in a housing estate in Rathnew last night.
It is believed a shotgun was fired at a downstairs room in a house in the Ballybeg housing estate in Rathnew.
No one was injured.
Garda technical experts are investigating.
