Two teenagers arrested in Co Tipperary after the occupants of a house in Dublin were threatened with a handgun have been released without charge.

A file is to be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Two youths broke into a house on Kilcronan Avenue in Clondalkin early yesterday and stole two mobile phones and a car.

A car was later found burned out in Templemore in Co Tipperary and two suspects aged 16 and 17 were detained.
