Three men, all believed to be Irish, have been injured following a shooting incident in Marbella in Spain.
It is understood a lone gunman attacked the men as they sat in a nightclub in the resort town.
The attacker, his face covered with a balaclava helmet, then ran from the premises to a waiting getaway car.
Two of the men, aged 45 and 73, were treated for minor injuries, while a third man remains in hospital under police guard with a bullet lodged in his shoulder.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is aware of the incident and says Spanish police are investigating the shooting.
